Unlimited- Christ Jesus Who Died

Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us (Romans 8:34b).

The reason why there is no one who could possibly condemn God’s children is that the Father has assigned all judgment to the Son (John 5:22). However, it is the Son himself who died for us, who was raised to life for us, and who intercedes for us at the right hand of God. How could he ever possibly condemn those whom he loves?

Indeed, in this verse, the apostle Paul succinctly states the Gospel. After mentioning the death of Christ, he says, “more than this” he was raised to life. Life is more than death. We should always remember this. Christ’s victory at the Cross was more than his apparent defeat.

Christ Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us.

Then Paul presents the results of the Gospel: that as a result of his victory, Christ Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us. The idea of intercession in the mind of Paul is not that of a loving Jesus pleading with a harsh and stern Father for him to accept us. Not at all! An intercessor is one who connects us continually with the Father and his love. This is why Paul follows this statement immediately with a question that is pregnant with astonishment at the goodness of God:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? (Romans 8:35a).

Hello Asma, Don't be confused by small things, otherwise we will easily be led astray by the more important things of life. There is no need to look for precise verbal equivalence in passages in the Bible dealing with the same topics. We need to be reasonable in how we read the Bible.

If we have to apply Acts 2 v 38 in GNU,, how are we going to go about it here ? Is Acts 2 v 38 the answer to: Matthew 28 v 19 ? Am confused with using the name JESUS in baptism and using FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST. Thanks for clarification.
