Who Are You?
The mirror tells you that you are only what you see. You aren’t.
School tells you that you’re someone who didn’t quite make the grade. You aren’t.
Parents tell you that you’re only a success if you have met their expectations. You aren’t.
Friends tell you that you’re only acceptable if you keep them happy. You aren’t.
Employers tell you that you are worth only the time that you can give them. You aren’t.
Your conscience tells you that you are defined by your biggest mistake. You aren’t.
You’ve been bought with a price. If you accept it, you’re accounted pure and perfect in Jesus, you’re filled with the Spirit of God, and you’re seated in heavenly places. You’ve been given eternal life and all the good things of eternity.
You are a child of the Living God. That’s who you are. Let that sink in. Then go and live it!
Who are you? You are a child of the Living God.
